Being related to everypony or having a large family doesn’t make someone a Mary Sue. The fact that everyone has strengths, flaws, and can be right or wrong regardless of their place in the story sort of negates the whole “Mary Sue” accusation for pretty much everyone. Unless, of course, you’re just using Mary Sue as a derogatory term for something you don’t like, in which case that’s an ad hominem attack that completely negates your argument.
