By comparing the prices of the tomato from the MLP universe (from “Putting your Hoof Down”, I’m choosing two bits per two tomatos) and the U.S price of tomatoes per lb (more specifically, in New York City), the currency of 1 Equestrian bit equals to $0.64875.
So, that painting sold for about $648.75
depends… first of all, how much is 1000 bits in American currency?
How much would you be willing pay from that recent buyer for?
Yeah, that being explicit isn’t going to make it score much higher. Explicit art can be worse and still get the same points as better non-explicit art, but there’s a barrier there in quality before explicit art gets points and I’m not sure you’re past that on skills.
I’ve not done too badly. Traditional art doesn’t often score that well if it’s not explicit, and I don’t do explicit art. Having kids means I don’t want them finding any adult drawings.

So you’re saying you’re not a very good artist, in that this drawing is very similar to your’s.
Several hours of work trying to get details right, scores around 25-30.
Cute 1 hour doodle and it gets triple that.
Having done a few comic strips myself, I can relate to how much work goes in to producing something like this.
In fact, your way of drawing is very similar to my own, even if the style is not.
