I think we might have overdone it with the treat to Princess Luna because this film is miles better. I love how it tells the situation from the perspective of everyone involved, from the astronauts, to their families, and the people down on mission control trying to keep them alive. There is drama and conflict but it all comes from the unfortunate situation these people got into.
The fact that this is based on true events just makes it even more engaging. I love the sincerity with which Ron Howard narrates the whole event, and how fast it goes. It made me feel sorry for a spaceship, how many other movies can do that? Few stories based in real life feel as satisfying and fulfilling as this one does, so if you have the chance to watch it dont miss it. Its a fantastic movie.
And now, if you excuse me, I need to find help. Theres been an awful lot of hugging andtouching lately, and Im starting to feel really uncomfortable.
