When I see this picture I think about a metaphor I heard for some small island nation in the United Kingdom. Like it’s a nation that shares the same sort of relationship to one of the “nations” that make up the UK as a nation. I’ll have to remember what that was, but I swear it’s an island.
 
That’s what comes to mind this. Diamond Dog is UK, Rarity whatever, and that little mutt is the island.
