Echo: takes off and begins to flap her wings

Echo: starts to waver in the air Momma…
 
Scootaloo: I’m right here. Don’t worry
 
Echo: refocuses and flaps harder
 
Scootaloo: Up, up, up…
 
Echo: begins to fly higher and more comfortably
 
Scootaloo: gasps You’re doing it!
 
Echo: giggles I’m doing it!
 
Scootaloo: watches her daughter fly and whispers You did it
 
Echo: turns around and heads for Scootaloo I’m coming, Momma
 
Scootaloo: opens arms to catch Echo
 
Echo: giggles and tackles Scootaloo
 
Scootaloo: catches Echo and falls over You did it Coco! sits up and kisses Echo all over
 
Echo: Momma stoooooop
 
Scootaloo: begins to tear up I’m so, so proud of you
 
Echo: Momma why are you crying?
 
Scootaloo: I….. Echo, you just did something I’ll never be able to do. And…… gets choked up
 
Echo: Don’t cry wipes away Scootaloo’s tears
 
Scootaloo: I really, truly am proud of you, Echo…. You’re an amazing little filly.
 
Echo: You’re an amazing momma, Momma.
 
Scootaloo: tries blinking away the tears
 
Echo: ………………………………… It’s okay that you don’t fly.
 
Scootaloo: smiles and pulls Echo into a hug
 

 
I like to think that Scootaloo was never able to fly. It adds SO much more to her character IMO
 
Echo couldn’t say her own name as a baby so she’d call herself Coco. The name stuck and Scootaloo and Rumble still call her that (she only let’s them call her Coco)
