Almost forgot. Medicine means to intervene, but so can a person, a teacher.
 
A teacher can get you started on drawing task, and make you feel good about your progress.
 
You can’t learn without dopamine, and dopamine=output-expected output. So if you don’t feel good about your progress you need to find someone that sees your improvement when you don’t.

Then I need drugs and a teacher… But anything medical-related is a problem for me since I don’t have insurance. I suppose I could find a teacher…but I also have poor time management and need to find a way to fit having lessons and time to practice into my routine…which is something I’ve never been good at. But I need to find a way to do it somehow…first I need medicine because my brain sucks. And before I do that, I need to find out how to be able to afford medicine…but in order to afford anything, with or without insurance, I need money…which I’m struggling to do by driving Uber…which thankfully is a job I can do with any kind of scheduling, but alas it doesn’t make as much money per ride, minute-by-minute, as I feel it should…

Look to see if there’s a Chinese Herbalist/Acupuncturist near you who also participates or teaches Tai Chi.
 
They have an entire system of practices that range from exercises to almost entirely over-the-counter recommendations that can range from CBD to poppy-based teas and mixes of powders that will make you gag to drink but which might snap your brain into alignment, and exercises that will feel like you’re just staring at a wall.
 
If you need something that they can’t proscribe then they’ll get you in touch with a doctor who can.
 
Over weeks and then months and then years they can help you find and maintain the balance you’re looking for.
 
Expect to pay between $45 and $90 per visit, depending on whether they’re a solo practitioner or a someone who works as regular staff in a hospital.
 
The “Practical Forms” of Tai Chi will probably give you the most bang for the buck because you’re both doing the physical stuff that helps get your blood flowing, but also the “Here’s what we’re doing to another person when we do this” stuff that helps with concentration and - for me at least - gives the practice more of a focus. Like, you’re not just waving your arms and moving your feet, you’re trying to move someone ELSE’S arms and feet.
 
With that, you’re getting some medical advice and might get some herbs that will help you manage whatever is going on with you, and you get a set of things you can do yourself that you don’t have to pay someone for each time you “apply” it.
 
It doesn’t work for everyone, but if you have a BUNCH of stuff going on it can reduce the problems to a smaller set that you might be able to manage without meds, and it gives you a way to judge over time whether you’re getting better, worse, or leveling out.

Learning and gaining new function is still mostly about your personal manipulation of energy. Even if you got all the energy flowing between A and B, it can still get stuck before getting to C.
 
Then once BC becomes unblocked, AB is blocked again, achieving workflow is some work of engineering sometimes, and the block might be financial, or circumstance that wouldn’t normally be considered.
 
For me once it was letting my cat walk all over me. She moves on a much smaller timer than me, so she’s constantly interrupting and disturbing my work flow. I try to kick her out and she cries at my door, so I got to let her in. I had to condition her by constantly feeding bits of wet food out in the living room where I want her.

Help me. I can’t do this. I can’t keep doing this. I say a lot of things to myself, and I wish I’d never should’ve said such hurtful things to myself. Why do I always use the same depression mode over and over again? Why do I have suicidal thoughts? Why am I always so rantful about life and myself? Why am I always to hard on myself? Why am I not avoiding any bad news? Why do I always keep saying that everything in my life is my fault? What is wrong with me? Why can I see a therapist already? Why do I always feel like I’m lonely?
