If he’s replaced by an actor who looks sorta like him, there’s no need for anything like the ridiculousness done with Nick Fury and Wanda and Pietro to tie into the MCU.
 
If you mean something like, Steve Rogers is replaced by another character as Cap, they’ll have to think fast, won’t they? After all, the comics have already been there, done that!
 
Maybe the movies would follow the comics instead - Bucky Cap or Falcon Cap hits the big screen! The comics would then keep as they’ve been going and just sell new TPBs of those stories with “now a major motion picture” thrown in somewhere.

eeeeh it’s not as good as the old logo.  

I wonder if the MCU Rogers will start calling himself the US Agent, or will he get pardoned and officially return as Captain America before then.
