No problem. I’m playing it safe with that page of the comic really. It’s the next page that’s going to need a definite higher rating.

Actually if you are making a series of comics, the pages have their own rating?

I think 40kponyguy is referring to things like Safe, Suggestive, Grimdark etc.

Most of that story is fairly tame, and should be okay with a safe rating.  
There’s just a couple of inevitable fight scenes which will need a semi-grimdark or grimdark rating.
 
For example, the Berzerker on that page, (who is the sole reason that page got a semi-grimdark tag),
 
Grimdark, and spoiler for the story  
gets his head shot off by a loyal imperial sniper right in front of the ponies. Admittedly this saves the ponies, although Fluttershy and Rarity faint from shock.

I know I just wonder if for example somebody make an image set with I dunno, sunset shimmer undressing.  
Then the entire series will be questionable or just the ones with some nudity?

Just the images with nudity. Images are evaluated separately when it comes to tagging even if they’re part of a set.

There’s a set with The Dazzlings doing a strip tease. (All individual, and there’s 3 (I think) images for each of them.
 
The first ones are safe rated. The others are rated suggestive.

Maybe. If you use a different alias for any more adult themed art you do, it keeps your main art name clean.
 
There’s very little that fazes me nowadays, futanari stuff’s an exception, but as a parent I’ve got to be aware my kids can get hold of my drawings so I won’t be drawing anything like that myself.

I have a really mixed bag view on NSFW content, I want to make it because I think I could make it right and lovely for myself but on the other hand I saw so many hurtful things I get into a circle of self checking whenever I am a bad person or not. I have some love or at least respect for the characters and I wish not to abuse them. Gladly I don’t have any humiliating or hurtful ideas with them, just happy stuff but still…

Well, it seems to have gone down like a lead zeppelin here. Lowest ever score for one of my own uploads.
 
Need to do something more appealing for the next upload or I risk scaring off my limited group of followers here.
 
Might try doing that Trixie one I was thinking of.

I did post a list a bit back in this thread of my ‘to-do’ list. One of them was an Equestria girls Trixie on stage one, which hopefully won’t take that long to rattle off.

Each page of that can take upwards of seven to eight hours solid drawing, depending how complex the scenes are.
 
One of the single character sketches, (some of my highest scoring uploads), I can draw and colour in around 1 1/2 hours.
 
That scene with the soldier in that strip?  
Took 2 hours just to draw. That armour is complex.

Seems you’re not alone there.
 
Comic strips are more often rated based on content rather than artistic merit. Hence, if the comic ventures in to things that aren’t widely approved, they get hammered with the downvotes.

I see. It’s a shame that comics don’t seem to do as well on here and I could tell that you put a lot of work into that soldier’s armour. Still, it looks great. I hope that with time you’ll see more upvotes and favourites.
