Masters of The Universe and She-Ra

Here’s a biased article that’s at least trying  
Not particularly hard,and it still misses the problems most fans have with the series.  
I’m actually surprised the show is so popular with adults who aren’t fans. I’m wondering what exactly it is that appeals to them. The characters aren’t very likable,they’re downright unpleasant. The humor is awkward,and the references and in jokes I can’t imagine a non fan understanding. The article glosses over Smith lying repeatedly leading up to the show. I really wish more fans could more clearly explain their issues with Revelation,and maybe these articles will get a better idea of what we actually have problems with.

Huh, Screenrant of all places seems to have given a fair look to the Revelation controversy. They still insist on the “review bombing”, in reality it’s several legit negative reviews and few actual trolls.

Rotten Tomatoes has really worked hard to spread misinformation on Revelation.  
 
I never understood why it’s being called anime. Wasn’t the Animation team based in Texas? There’s anime influence there, but that doesn’t make it anime any more than the previous MotU shows.  
Also they raised the audience score themselves.  
 
It’s still a low score,but it’s still lying. Hundreds of negative reviews versus around fifty positive reviews is not “review bombing”,it’s popular opinion. For some reason,they’re trying to artificially prop up the show. Compare the positive vs negative on RT to the likes vs dislikes on the YouTube trailers. They had well over ten thousand likes to a few hundred dislikes,and over a million views.  
Smith certainly isn’t helping,and has forever tainted his reputation with his bizzare arrogance.  

 
On the positive side though, here’s the designs for various characters,easily one of the series’ stronger elements.  
 
 
Looking through concept art for the old live action movie, I found this.

Also Orko’s odd retcon monologue to Evil Lyn,could it have been inspired by Gremlins?

Rewatch value is pretty low as it turns out. Most fans hated it,or were indifferent to it,and some others watched out of curiosity.

Then there’s this,I’m worried they’ll try too hard to make Evil Lyn sympathetic.

It looks like Robot Chicken, because it’s actually from the inspiration,Twisted Toyfare Theatre. Back in the magical 90’s,an action figure collecting magazine had a groundbreaking idea to not be the typical dry toy collector mag. They were going to be a magazine for manchildren,by manchildren. Like Maxim for nerds. Cracking comic book in-jokes, insulting celebrities,and most important, creating comics using Mego’s dolls,Star Wars figures, He-man figures,and whatever else. Seth Green,being a big toy collector loved the magazine,and along with a few of the people who worked on Toyfare they created a series of online shorts,using Mego’s and figures inspired by the Toyfare comics. Cartoon Network took notice and made them a show in Adult Swim. Toyfare ended unexpectedly years ago,but it’s legacy lives on with Robot Chicken.
