He’s a pretty good unit in my game, so you may want to try recruiting him next time.

I’ll keep that in mind. But, I’m not going out of my way to kill the students I didn’t recruit. I actually didn’t have a choice in the matter, since he was an enemy commander, and the victory condition was to kill all enemy commanders.  
With that said though, if they attack me, I will retaliate. They are my enemies after all. They have my sympathy, but not my mercy.

I understand. I will say that when I had to fight the Golden Dear when I went Red, I killed all of them, though one did ask to join my army afterwards.

Some of my units are starting to seriously lag behind, to the point that I feel I should probably bench some of them permanently. Lorenz is probably hit the hardest by this- a guy on a horse should not have only 15 Speed.
 
For reference, my second slowest unit, Sylvain, who is currently a Fortress Knight, has a Speed of 17.

Doesn’t help that bows are heavy in TH, weighting him down even more. I think Bernadetta has a 50% speed growth, making her able to double sometimes. Lorenz has a 40%, which is still high for a FE game.

I guess I just got unlucky with him. Dexterity is his highest stat, so maybe I can give him a bow and have him keep his distance. Because of his speed, practically any enemy can double him if they manage to close in.

Well, I had to restart a map because I split my army into two groups, and the smaller group got utterly wiped out because the game decided to be a bastard and spring a bunch of reinforcements on me.  
You know Dimitri, I thought you’d be cool. But now you and Edelgard can burn in hell together. Nobody makes a fool of me and get away with it.

The tactic with bow knights is hit-and-run, as FE4 taught me.
 
Don’t be angry at the characters for being clever.

I just spent 2 hours fishing enough fish to feed the Empire, going from being halfway of B+ Professor Level to halfway of A (around 10k exp), and getting ~35k gold from selling all the fish I didn’t need (including all the Gold and Platinum ones).  
Word of advice, save all your bait for Fistful of Fish event. The gains are incredible.

I wonder what happened to Gilbert and Alois. They just kind of disappeared from the Golden Deer route. Gilbert is kind of justified because he mentioned leaving the monastery to protect his homeland, but Alois doesn’t have the same excuse.

Strange, because for both Gilbert and Alois, I never got the option to recruit them. It wasn’t like with Hanneman and Manuela where they weren’t available at first, but I was able to recruit them after a certain point. Maybe there’s a limit to the number of professor/Knights of Seiros you can pull into your class.
