Oh, so that’s what it was.

Y’know, people used to bash “Super Paper Mario” for being different, (and easier) then the first two more RPG Paper Mario games, but nowadays, fans accept it more then the other recent ones.
 
It’s kinda interesting it was a platformer with some interesting 3D/ & character gimmicks, and some RPG-ish elements. (Wouldn’t mind another game like that, it was almost the Mario version of a “Metroidvania” game) It’s probably also one of the darkest Mario titles with some creepy villains, and such. The sense of humor was good too.

Chuggaa finally managed to break his losing streak in Mario Party 7.

He ended up with 6 stars and got at least one bonus star. According to the results screen, he was even in the running for several other bonus stars.

Yeah, I really need to replay it at some point. Though there are some points that I tend to still need a guide for.

I beat it without a guide, I don’t really like using them, (unless I really have to) as I find it more fun, and rewarding to do things myself.
 
As a kid, I totally ruined “Super Mario 64” by using a Player’s Guide book to find/spoil everything. As a result, that game isn’t as much fun to me anymore.

I think luck swayed in Chugga’s Favor. Because Jon was mostly dueling Peach in the entire game.And finally the game had enough in Jon’s favor in the last board.

Frankly, I have no shame in using guides, but I try to only use them if I’m legit having difficulty with something.

Unpopular opinion: I didn’t mind them changing the Toad NPC designs in the Superstar Saga remake. Frankly, the old ones were ugly, even if they were more unique.

I find changing the cameos/references, changing Psycho Kamek into a completely different character, and especially removing Geno’s cameo, (might’ve been Square/Enix’s fault, or perhaps AlphaDream didn’t want to bother getting their permission) kinda unforgivable though.
 
Hope they don’t ruin “Inside Story” that way, but granted, I never played the original DS version, so I wouldn’t even notice.

I didn’t mind them changing Psycho Kamek, since Dr. Toadley was a character that’s also in Bowser’s Inside Story. Establishes more continuity with the other games.
 
What I did find annoying was how they changed Bink, the character that runs the barrel mini-game on the SS Chuckola, from “skeletal Donkey Kong” to “literally just another skeleton sailor crewman with no distinguishing characteristics from the others”.

Yeah, I prefered the gorilla design, as it was a nod to DK.
 
Come to think of it, why are characters like DK, Wario, Daisy, ect. forbidden from the RPG Mario games? (Or the main games for that matter.) Meanwhile, Pauline makes an unexpected return in “Odyssey.”

Apparently, New Donk City has some nods to DK. Such as a street named “Diddy,” and such.

I saw an episode of Super Mario All-Stars on TV when I was very little.

I remember that, technically it was called “Mario All-Stars” as it omitted the “Super” part for some reason. (Maybe to avoid confusing it with the game.) It was basically just reruns of the “Super Show” & “Super Mario World” cartoons, rather then a brand new Mario show.  
Kinda odd it never featured “Adventures of SMB3.”
 
The credits regard Domino’s Pizza as “the official pizza of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show.”

It’s weird how easy the Mic minigames space in Mario Party 7 is so easy. You’d think that they would mix it up by shuffling the cards instead of having them stay in the exact same order.

So did I, back when the Family Channel was still a thing.

It should be interesting to see if one of the Runaway guys manages to win Pyramid park or if the AI will manage to find a way to win.

Mario Kart Idea: Adding a Fuel Meter and Temperature Meter in gameplay seems fun

Not sure if joking, but that may work in other games, but I doubt it’d work in MK. They may end up hindering the player, and those would severely change the gameplay style, which would probably upset most fans.
