Saw the movie earlier today, was impressed, especially after how bad the prequels are. If I had to gripe, Kylo Ren was cool and intimidating at first, and then when he started taking off his helmet I thought “ugh, he reminds me of Anakin too much” Especially when he threw temper tantrums after hearing bad news. Seriously.
Also, Han’s death was overplayed a bit too much, and then he just fell in the abyss. Seriously, they couldn’t even give him a proper burial, scene or something? His body is just lost?
Other than that, it was really good. Look forward to the next two.

So I saw the movie today and i fucking loved it! Characters were great! Action was awesome!

J.J Abrams did a good ass job on this.

Only two things I kind of feel were disappointing.

1, I saw a lot of art of Captain Phasma and she looked so cool and awesome! and I thought she’d have more to do during the story!

Aaaand it turns out she just gets dicked super hard in the movie as she literally only has a few lines, gets jumped by Cheewie, And gets either shot into space or put in a trash compactor and you don’t even know as that was all off screen so she literally wasn’t of any important’s and more than SADLY likely DIES OFF SCREEN.

I still love the character though but yeah, They could have done so much with her.

2, Am I the only one that thinks Hans Solo’s death was very, anticlimactic? I mean hear me out it was sad, But it just happens so fast and after its over its not even like a giant impact or anything. He just literally dies and thats about it. like, I think they could have either not killed him off like that or done a lot better than that

But other than that, Good movie!

Ironically, that’s why this movie is highly regarded. Because it left a lot of questions unanswered and everyone wanting to know more and see this characters again.

And Han’s death, personally, thought it was appropriate. He doesn’t go out in a blaze of glory but failing to bring his son back and restore his family to how it was. That’s a lot more powerful when you think about it.

@QuasarNova
I can see the appeal in that, It leaves a lot of speculation and mystery as you await for the next episode!

Also, Yeah, when I think about it that is pretty rough, I guess in the momen it just seemed strange. Its one of those moments you have to go back and reflect a little on
