Bring over the answers to the left side of the equation.
 
(2x + 1)/(x-1) -3 =0 , or (2x + 1)/(x-1) +3 =0
 
(4-x)/(x-1) =0, or (5x-2)/(x-1) =0
 
4 - x =0 or 5x - 2 = 0
 
X = 4 or 2/5
