Sorry for sounding obsessive, but why do people like Haachama? She’s one of the creepest idols in Hololive. I do like her Red Heart song. It was the reason why I started liking her in the first place. Then her horror attempt gave me a massive headache. Not to mention people praise her for terrible cooking and whatnot.

I know everyone here is going to label me as a troll ignore me. Because I know you’re all sick of my whining. Can’t blame you. But I don’t have anywhere else to vent my frustrations. Not without getting lambasted with insults… Oh, wait. I get insulted here as well. Never mind.

Simply put, I want to praise the idols I like (Subaru for example), but seeing Haachama just ruins my mood. It’s been years since she did that horror thing, yet I can’t let it go… It’s definitely a me thing. But whatever. There’s a reason why I’m using pathetic failure as a tagline. I’m being blunt and honest.

I don’t know if I could ever give a satisfactory answer as to WHY people like Haachama, but if I had to guess, she’s very creative, constantly breaking norms and shaking things up.

The praise for her terrible cooking is ironic. I’m assuming she’s fairly okay at cooking, but cooking terribly is funnier, and she is an entertainer, after all.

You will, of course, be downvoted to hell on the Hololive subreddit, but try asking on the Virtual YouTubers subreddit, they have a more open view of things.

Red Heart isn’t her only song, INFINITY is also really good.

EDIT: Some people just LIKE creepy. Mumei started out as a wandering girl with amnesia, but is now the incarnation of all of humanity’s sins and violence, hiding behind a cute face.

Layna Lazar is a….necromancer? Zombie? Some kind of monster? who streams on Twitch. She’s pretty popular (not Hololive popular, but she has a pretty loyal fanbase) and LOVES horror and doing spooky/scary things.

Juniper Actias is another one on Twitch, one of the most popular, actually! She’s some kind of moth abomination who streams from containment, though she sometimes breaks out….

And that’s how the VTUber thread turned into another fetish thread. Which in my opinion is not a wrong thing. (grin) Just kiddin’.

But since we’re on this subject:

I’m too numb to even take the full video head on. Glad everyone had a great time with her. Now she’s free as heck at a bittersweet expense of all of us. 🥹

If it wasn’t for her breaking her back, she probably would have stuck on. But she had a lot of other responsibilities that was too much in the end.

Sana had as clean of a record as talents could have. Partly because she wasn’t as active as most of the other talents and thanks to her very friendly personality.
But EN Hololive in general has a pretty good track record so far. Aside from scuffles with fans, nobody really got into any trouble on that branch.

Thanks for the polite response. You are definitely a nice person. I need to get over this grudge I have on her. It’s not a healthy mindset, and Haachama is only trying to be entertaining. She didn’t do anything wrong… which may explain why she and Watame are such great friends.

Ironmouse just had her FIVE year anniversary. She debuted in 2017, more than a year before Hololive’s and Nijisanji’s creation. She is one of the first 500 Vtubers in existence, and is likely one of the first, if not THE FIRST English-language Vtuber to ever exist.

I’ve been fancying the idea of becoming a Vtuber myself… but I lack commitment and might even lose interest quite quickly from the get go. Plus I have other life obligations in the way.

I bet you Count would be terrified of the idea of me being a Vtuber. That would be so fucking STUPID

Start out as a “PNGtuber” (your appearance will be restricted to however many different images you have, but it will be MUCH cheaper and faster than a fully-rigged Vtuber model).

Ah yes. That is how Vannamelon started her virtual let’s play as Fluttershy using png vectors of her back in 2014 until she got rigged avatar on 2018.

(She may have probably accidentally started this whole vtubing gamer trend i guess)
