Personally I prefer her true form, if I had to chose, but she’s been a waifu of mine for many years. Probably the first one I genuinely ever had, as far back as summer 2007 :) I think it was also through her that I discovered my general affinity for dark (“dark”, not necessarily “evil”), elegant, magical/sorcerous women <3  
(Chrysalis being a PERFECT example, as far as MLP characters go)
