Yeah Bryan will be massive no matter what he does, but part of me wants it to make sense. If Bryan gets a title shot after years of not wrestling I wanna know why.
Part timers and authority figures should only win titles so they can be suitable big bad characters for babyfaces to pummel.
I would hate Daniel suddenly beating up everyone for no reason, and so would everyone else in the end.
Daniel Bryan vs Shane McMahon would be my choice of comeback match. Daniel can do all the fiddly wrestling bits, Shane could do all the concussion teasing ‘holy shit!’ bits… they seem like they would work well together.
@TheAbridgenator
You sure?
Because people really hated SUnset when she first appeared, and a few people still do hate her.
Bryan was almost universally loved.
@LeoNero
Yes..
And because both seem to have the most annoying haters.
@ice1517
True, but remember, the people who hated Bryan as much as people hated EQG1 Shimmer were the WWE. And as Shimmer did, he proved them wrong. XD
You talk about the most irrational and hyperbolic fanbase in any media… Other than bronies, Trekkies, whovians, anime fans, league of legends fans, elder scrolls fans, wow…
Anyways, wrestling fans are like sith: Deal in absolutes, with very rare people having an in-between opinion that see both good and bad.
And wouldn’t Sunset fit more Okada the more I think about it?
I saw someone make this comparison and I can’t help but agree. Cass getting cleared the same day Daniel Bryan got cleared is like when Chyna died on the same day Prince died.
Decent enough on the mic, and i think he can be a good Big Man if they just make him do simple power moves and keep the matches short, at least until they think its safe enough for him to tr and expand and go longer matches.
Also things just seem really shit for Cass.
Out for months becuase of a torn ACL, Best friend got fired amoungst reports of him raping a girl, broke up with Carmella after they bought a house together, and now him being cleared is oershadowed by Bryan.
