That would be nice. But given that the reply can be edited after clicking a ‘reply’ to not include the original ‘reply to’, parsing that there was indeed a reply to a specific someone can be … nonintuitive.

Would it be possible to include image descriptions in data dumps?

Then such a feature would also need to wait for the improvement to notifications where comment threads where all the new comments are deleted comments do not generate notifications. a.k.a. remove the notification from the list if it is no longer valid.

An “ONLY” keyword for search, where it will return results which contain images with the character(s) listed, and no others. So searching for ONLY (ts AND fs) would return images which contain Twilight and Fluttershy but no other tags from the character or OC categories. It would not take terribly complicated logic to implement and would be INCREDIBLY useful (therefore I fully expect to be shot down and/or ignored).

Add support for webp images. All major browsers support them and the compression is better than png for lossless, and beats jpg for lossy quality.

Then convert them server-side to something friendlies. Any OS stack or photo editor that doesn’t support WebP by now is half-assed garbage, anyway.

Could also be implemented as a search term for the count of tags of a certain category, like searching for images with 1 character, or with more than one artist.

A “count” operator would indeed be wonderful. Imagine doing something like this:

would return images that have more than one character in them but have been incorrectly tagged as “solo”.

Though your specific use case is imperfect (characters that imply other names, depictions of characters not present such as in a painting on a wall, or non-character-tag characters such as from non-MLP franchises)

Besides, Maonyman’s suggestion is different, in that they want to search for specific tag(s) in a category and exclude any others.

The count operator would work as well, if it supported tag categories. I could do something like count(characters):2, count(ocs):0, ts, fs to accomplish the same thing as ONLY (ts AND fs)

It’s probably easier to implement too, and more flexible–useful in more scenarios.

Why, in the first example is count(ocs):0 necessary? If you’re looking for images with exactly two characters and then specify Twilight & Flutters, they should take up the two character slots and not leave room for OCs.

OC and Character categories are different.

Drag and drop support for the reverse image search would be handy as I have a ton of files and picking them out one by one , starting at the top of directories each time, gets tiresome.

I’m able to drop a file into the reverse image search form, using Chrome on Windows. You have to drop it onto the file picker element ([Choose File] No file chosen), not just anywhere on the document like some sites allow - is that what you’re requesting?

Ah, yeah, it would help if that input field was a bit bigger for those of us with disabilities, but that’s what I needed. A bulk check would be cool but I imagine it would be hell on the server.

Why? It works just fine on Linux (Gnome) and IIRC also on Windows.

I think there should be an option to “hide tags” by default on every image, so we don’t need to scroll through a wall of tags to get to the comments on tag heavy images. Or something similar, like an “expandable” box.
