also had roleplay friday with my friends! they defeated a sea serpant! they did well I am so proud of them.

I would never upload any of these to Derpibooru though personally. They’re relatively quick and easy, yes, but they’re primarily not my own. Either taken from others’ bases or from a screen from the show.

I took screenshots and I used the magic wand tool to remove the backgrounds bit by bit. It’s easier when the background is a very different color from the character. Same with removing the pony’s mane and tail.
Some redrawing of body parts that were behind the mane and tail were needed too.
Then I used the paint bucket tool to put in the proper colors. It’s not super straightforward though, sometimes it’s difficult to be precise and you may want to go into it manually with paint brush or pencil to clean it up.

Btw the second base was not one that I extracted, that’s someone else’s. But the rest are!
