Well that’s good to hear and makes me happy to know the site will be around, but what about artist that live in areas that fall under article 13 will we still be able to get their art or will we have to find a different method to access or will their art just not have a source to link to or just no access to new art from them?  
p.s. also what about artist that already have art up and full under those laws?

Eh, we’ll see how long this actually lasts post G4. If G5 changes too much that will probably be the last nail in the coffin, this fandom never took change well.

It might shrink heavily, yes, but I’d think as long as the new designs are still cute and cartoony (closer to Gen4 than to previous generations with the more horse-like snouts) at least part of this fandom will continue to exist and create content, I’d think definitely those who are also furries.

That I’m ok with if it is a rule-breaking image on the artists’ respect. Because there are exceptions with what the artist is ok with which I’m concerned if it did mean that.

By DNP, do you mean in a conventional all out DNP sense?
 
So will that mean that images that are under a certain conditioned DNP such as “Artist upload only” will continue to stay on here unless the artists themselves request specific take downs?
 
And what about official stuff like screencaps?

A;so, I expect this community to continue and thrive intot he next decade, given how vibrant it is. Not just Ponies on here.

Sometimes when artists request a DNP, they request we remove all their artwork. Sometimes they allow it to stay. We handle it based on what’s requested in their DNP submission.
 
Also, a lot of “artist upload only” DNPs are ones where the artist literally just wants to be the one who uploads their work, and they continue to post it afterwards.

Are people really concerned about the fandom?
 
The closest thing we have to this fandom dying is people moving on their lives after the show ends.
 
But yet again, nothing lasts forever.

Sorry if this was discussed elsewhere, but Derpibooru is housed in the UK correct? And the UK as of right now has to comply with article 7/13 once it’s finalized correct? So with article as it is right now, is it illegal to post online screen caps of copy righted media? Would it be illegal to post screen caps of season 9 pony episodes? Or even any screen caps of any pony episodes or movies ever?
