They allowed this and the other thread but only so we can talk to each other and in the end, nothing would change, because they already decided that they will listen to some loweffort click bait article that nobody care about and some twitter SJW mobs rather then real and normal arguments.

That’s the funniest part of this entire debacle. Moving from “as long as it’s legal” to “as long as it agrees with our politics” with the rules create an implicit approval of foalcon, rape, hard vore, snuff, torture, narcotics, etc etc.
 
So nazis and (some) racism is bad enough to be banned from the site, but we’re A-OK with Whitekitten.

It’s definitely some odd double standards, if a cartoon pony can promote, glorify, or trivialize real world Nazism just by existing, by that same logic all the images that involve humans and ponies having intercourse can promote real world bestiality.  
Or the zebradom tag can promote racism.  
Or the abuse tag can promote real world abuse.  
Or the rape tag can promote real world rape.  
And thats without touching the absolute mess that is foalcon.  
It’s nonsensical reasoning that inevitably leads to a purity spiral.

The days of derpibooru in its current form is soon over. I don’t care about nazi stuff nor the BLM movement. Getting rid of one propaganda while embracing and actively promoting the other (yes its promoting since you SUPPRESS the voices of the other party) is a huge sign that the admins trying to force their viewpoints on the users. They fucked up big time. They want to make a hugbox for themselves, deleting, banning, restricting those who have a different opinion.
 
But thanks for the site devs for the booru engine. Becoming open source was the first step both in the right direction but at the same time a HUGE flag that they have no intention of running this site much longer. Having the database public is a sign of this too. A sign to someone else to grab it and make another one, possibly importing all the content from here. Basically a seamless transition. It might take a few more months for a stable and usable booru to appear but it will, you successfully “triggered” enough people who have the resources, knowledge and willingness to stand up and take your place.
 
Also, I have to agree this is an excellent use of the extremely stupid DNP list. While also being super destructive, as the art what would have been posted here will never see the light, only a dark glow on DA, Patreon or wherever. The audience of your patreon/DA is much much much smaller than what derpi have.  
At this point, I don’t care if tomorrow depri shuts down or not, I will be sad, but soon something else will take its place as usual, as depri took (the old) ponibooru’s place when that went under.

But ultimately that new site is going to come under the same fire, and when the owners refuse to change, the left will go into de-platform mode and do whatever they can to get rid of it. I wouldn’t even think about using PayPal and Patreon for donations (and not everyone has access to crypto currency). And definitely stay away from Cloudflare.

Filing my request.

Using censorship on one side but not others kills the neutrality of a platform. To all the people who dislike nazism in their own way (Which is prefectly valid. Everyone should be free to dislike whatever they want.): before you celibrate the things you dislike getting struck, please consider the consequences of losing neutrality, something that’s becoming rare on the internet and in the world. Please consider the value of a place where not everyone has to think, like, and dislike the same things. I understand it can feel good to feel powerful by seeing your (perceived) opponents getting banished. However all that’s really happening is that people might only get more divided in a “X is allowed” echo chamber and an “X is banned” one. BOTH sides will see an increase of the annoying people echochambers tend to generate.

You want to fight nazis for real and make the world less racist? You dont do it by banning said things.  
Because then that just makes people go to smaller, condensed sites where they then make their own echo chamber, their views hardening even more.
 
I mean, come on, isnt this a lesson in Pony? You have to treat your enemies with kindness and humility, THEN they will turn to your side. If you just fucking ban them they will get more pissed and you failed.
 
You all talk about not wanting racism and then you do the exact opposite of what the man who brought about civil rights did.  
Do you not remember that MLK expressly did peaceful things?  
Do you not remember that MLK did this because he knew just ostracizing racism wasnt going to win people over?
 
MLK knew that the only way to win over your enemy is to treat them with respect and kindness. That gets their guard down and makes them think about their ways, because now they are the ones being brutes.
 
Yet by fighting this “racism” and “nazism” with hardcore bans, rules, and condemnation you have only hardened their hearts, and thus failed to make anyone less racist. By doing this you will only make people cling harder to such things.

The 3-2-1 rule of backups: at least three copies, at least two different media (i.e. if one copy is on HDD the other needs to be on SSD, or magnetic tape, or an optical disk…), at least one copy must be offsite.
