I really don’t get how people who lose interest in the show hang around fandom places for the sole reason of loudly declaring how much they hate the show.

From my experience spending every day bitching about a thing I used to like but now don’t (Dresden Files, Attack on Titan) my main reasons were:
 
A. I’m hoping it will get better.
 
B. There are still things I enjoy, but they’re heavily mingled with stuff I despise.

It’s not your thread. That you started the thread gives you no authority over it. You don’t own the venue for the discussion. He has a right to say what he wants from the movie.

hopefully if we get a new trailer in a couple of weeks it’s followed by one in July and then TV spots, because it’s high time they start promoting this like crazy.

I think the big issue is the masks. If you got rid of them, they wouldn’t look all that bad.
 
Also, I’m surprised that no one has done any humanisations of the new movie characters. or even try t make Equestria Girl versions of them.

What was the inspiration for Storm King?

You know? Come to think of it, the Pinkie costume looks kinda like Pinkie from the show when you really think of it (specially in the later seasons): It’s disturbing.

After seeing short clips of Liev Shreiber talking about his role as Storm King, I feel like he will fit into this character like a glove.
