It’s about a filly born 2,000 years before the FIM begins, who caught an incurable disease with no name at birth.
 
The disease is not contagious, and has never been seen before. But filly Crystal caught it, and turned into an abomination. She was forced from her family, her friends, and her home.
 
For 2,000 years, she has lived alone. Survived alone, scared of what other creatures would think of her.
