Ducktales (2017) Thread

/co/ is complaining that Donald is shit on in the cartoon.
 
Like, did you people just recently watch Disney? Donald’s ALWAYS been the butt monkey.

Also, last week’s episode was great. This is probably the most depth Glomgold’s ever had.

Didn’t the original Ducktales cartoon, along with New Adventures of Mighty Mouse and Adventures of the Gummi Bears help start an animation renaissance?

Along with Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, and other shows, yes.

I have been enjoying the second season so far, especially Glomgold’s episode.  
Except for Fethry’s episode, since I have never liked that character. Seriously, screw Fethry Duck. I just skipped his episode and I hope he never shows up again.

There were probably people (read: idiots) who thought the scene in the S2 premiere where Scrooge is taking the idol was a reference to Indiana Jones, when actually Indiana Jones was partially inspired by Uncle Scrooge, and the comic the scene is referencing predates Raiders of the Lost Ark by almost 30 years.

I thought that the Christmas episode was really nice. I especially liked how they put in some references to the disney version of the Christmas Carol. Also, did anyone else find the voice for Young donald really familiar?

Holy crap, the christmas episode was so great.

 
Biggest jerk in the series, seriously say what you wants bout the beagle boys, Glomgold, even Magica at least they don’t start calling someone “Chico” the second they find out they are hispanic,

Yeah, Mark Beaks is so insufferable. It’s one thing to lie to the public about some surprise project to illegally acquire funding, it’s another to act all high and mighty, then lose your cool when you don’t get what you want.

Mark Beaks is an internet addict who hates being ignored and always wants to be the center of attention at any cost, so it’s logic they made him so unlikeable as his real world counterparts.

I loved the twin’s perfect teamwork and how present Donald blatantly implied he remembered and knew who “Bluie” was all along.

I think I heard something about a new episode premiering in March. Could be wrong.

Oh God, the new Ducktales episode was all what I wished FiM could have been.  
Keep your handkerchiefs around because boy, you will need them during this episode.

No new Ducktales episodes until May.
