I’m still on the fence about whether I should support Brexit or not.

As far as I can tell, the Brits don’t have a lot of leverage at this point. I support Brexit in principle, but the way it was done has left the UK high and dry, and the EU has no inclination to be forgiving.

You’re right, he can voice his support for anyone he wants but that doesn’t mean he’s immune to criticism from people like me. Trump’s a buffoon and anyone with half a brain would have realized he’d remain the same idiot we know once he entered office.

I watched a couple clips of him talking, he doesn’t seem like anything special really. He’s also anti-gay marriage which is a red flag for me.

But yeah, I do hope that he changes his mind about the same-sex marriage thing. Marriage is a personal thing between people. I don’t see why the government has to be involved, the same way religion has to be involved in the government.

He seems like a typical establishment politician along the lines of Hillary Clinton and Theresa May. He’s not even a right wing populist like Marie Le Pen or Donald Trump, I don’t see what’s special about him.
