The British Grenadiers… (humming) Sry, where were we? ;-D

I feel you, but seriously, I don’t think you have to worry too much. The UK will return to the EU one day and everything is good. Mixed population or not. The problem about the UK is that you have literally unite five different countries. On the same soil. And this won’t last forever…

As a German, I have to say… Whenever a Prince will raise Excalibur again, I’m ready. For God and Saint George!

“The UK will return to the EU”
So it will be far worse. Yeah I can see now why he wants to leave. When the EU commissariat dictates what can and cant be done and the nations therein have no fucking sovereignty.

“became much as the US back then, you’re complaining?”
You are kidding right? They don’t have a Federal government that is beholden to the nations therein. Its the other way around. Remember our nation is a Federation not a truly single unified nation like other nations in history. In essence we are fifty nations making up a large federated state. You could say we are the first supranational federation.

Speaking about Federation, you know that Germany is a Federal Republic, right? RIGHT! And the EU is NOT another USSR.

@Genevamode

Cliché Nr. 1. The EU isn’t corrupt. Not as much as ANY democracy. Change my mind.

Actually I think we need to reform old democracy to a new digital democracy, but that would be a VERY long topic.

They forced France to vote again on the Lisbon Treaty because they didn’t like the result
They did the same thing to Ireland
They were silent about the Spanish police brutality against Catalonians

First of all, NO one silent anyone about Spanish police against Catalonians. You KNOW that Carles Puigdemont is accused, but may move freely within Germany, right? I couldn’t throw a stone without hit a critic about Spain. Well, Puigdemont can not leave the country. Right. But otherwise he is allowed to do whatever he wants.

Please give me your sources about “forced” France & Ireland. Both countries have chosen freely to sign the contract. It may not have pleased the opponents, and certainly the result wasn’t that great. Due to the fatigue in the discussion. But forced!? Seriously?

Seriously, Sarkozy was a douche. That’s the reason he isn’t around anymore. He has literally pulled his own ground off. It wasn’t corrupt, it was an action for his own popularity. As I always said, I despise populism. You know why the Irish had to vote twice? Because they were ungrateful. You can not live 35 years of EU subsidies and then vote against the treaty at the crucial moment just to get more for yourself. Do you know how much Ireland does profit from the EU now? 10 years later? Maybe you should mention this first before you came up with ol’ Anti-EU propaganda.

Edit (just to fuel some facts) Intra-EU trade accounts for 51% of Ireland’s exports (United Kingdom 13%, Belgium 13% and Germany 7%), while 26% go to the United States and 5% to Switzerland. In terms of imports, 68% come from EU Member States (United Kingdom 29%, France 13% and Germany 10%), while outside the EU 15% go to the United States and 4% to China.

In fact, it is in the interests of British parties to make the EU market looking bad, as they themselves would benefit the most if there would be trouble between the EU and Ireland. Don’t fall for this kind of propaganda. Ireland is a happy member of the European Union and we all appreciate its efforts.

Translation. “You are going to vote again and you BETTER vote correct or else.”
What is national sovereignty? Amirite?

Again, what kind of force are we speaking? “So, we literally build you up and supported you for 35 years and now you say f**k off?” “Hmmm… Okay. I think we should close our markets. OH! NOW you want revote?” “Sure, why not?”
