This vida person from what I check, is planning to defend peets critiques against anyone because it seems that the community needs a reality check. Now I am sorta new to this but the community ya its flaw but I think peet never really cared and I honestly believe Vida is fallen into his trap.

Either that or Vida is focused solely on his own agenda and not the big picture when it comes to Peet or Toonkritic. He needs to know that if he decides to defend Peet, that automatically takes away any moral high ground he may claim to have over Toonkritic’s former friends.

Actually, this is a projection. Peet has nothing to do with Toonkritic and how he got away with what he did. By dragging Peet’s name into this, you’re showing you’re focused only on your own agenda.

If you want to have a discussion after all this is said and done about Peet, that’s fine. I’m a critic as well when it comes to Peet. But it has no place in the current discussion.

I have been discussing Peet long before the Toonkritic mess. It’s only just now gaining attention because she was arrogant enough to stick her nose in the fire. I have every right to be angry and call her out for her blatant, harmful hypocrisy and the fact that she’s attempting to use this situation to take the heat off of herself. She is a narcissist. She doesn’t actually care. She just wants a deflection. That’s why she’s continuing to harp on Josh.

If she hadn’t decided to soapbox about this and spit in the face of everyone who has been coming forward and sharing their experiences about her, you’d be right in saying she has no place in the discussion. But since she added herself to it, I’m going to continue calling her out for it.

Personally, I don’t care if Peet is being hypocritical in this instance. That’s just another voice (one with a large reach, might I add) that helps spread the message and get people to be proactive against Toonkritic, those who handle this situation poorly, and those who refuse to nip the problem in the butt before this all happens again. Because it WILL happen again. And Peet’s motivations be damned.

I’ve also had beef with Peet before all of this started. But I set aside my own problem because this is a MUCH more serious issue at hand. Once all of this is said and done, and if you feel Peet is doing the same type of thing that’s being criticized here, go ahead and stoke that fire. If you back it up with evidence, I’ll support it. But all this is doing is muddying the water and creating a distraction from a much more immediate threat. Don’t hijack or muddy this discussion.

I have provided proof, and if you’d spent a few minutes to look through the multiple places I have posted that proof, you’d know that I started discussing Peet before October of last year. Peet should be dealt with in the exact same way Toon is being dealt with, and even more so considering she has the audacity to speak as if she isn’t guilty of the exact same type of shit AND MORE. Peet IS an immediate threat. That is the entire reason why I came forward and infodumped in the first place.

I’m not directly involved with Toon’s mess at all, so out of respect, I am letting the people who were hurt by him deal with him. I HAVE been directly hurt by Peet, so I am personally focusing on her. I didn’t bring her into the Toonkritic mess. I wouldn’t have linked the two at all, as they are separate but similar situations and linking the two would have been disrespectful to Toon’s victims. LILY INSERTED HERSELF.

I’m not “muddying” anything. If you want to focus more on Toon, that’s your right. But if you’re not going to show me the common courtesy of doing a little bit of research before throwing provably false accusations at me, then stay the fuck out of my way.

Provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt that Peet is doing the exact same shit as Toon. If you fail to provide that, I see no reason to drag Peet into all of this. I’ve seen the logs back and forth between you and Peet, and while all of that is fucked up, it isn’t relevant or equatable to the situation at hand. Which is why I’m telling you to keep Peet out of it. To keep from muddying the waters.

And no. Peet didn’t insert herself. Chiming in a situation and helping to push for improvement of the community does not equate to inserting oneself into a spot where one is part of the problem. That is next level mental gymnastics and I’d like to ask you to kindly knock the fuck off.

I keep an eye on the Peet farms thread (even if I don’t post).

If you have done your research, then you should be well aware of why Peet opening her mouth on this subject is a kick in the gut to everyone who had to deal with her own special brand of sexual abuse. You’re just choosing not to see that because you feel your message is more important. And as I said, as far as I’m concerned at least, you have lost any right to act like your end goal is to protect victims of abuse and keep it from happening again. You’re more interested in defending another abuser in order to attack a bunch of side parties for poorly worded comments. You’re a tunnel-visioned hypocrite.

At this point, with no public arrest record to speak of, we only have Josh’s word for it that he’s even doing this. And Josh has demonstrated how little weight his word has. Considering his woeful lack of understanding of the legal system, I doubt he’s actually doing anything because any investigator worth their salt would have immediately quashed half the misconceptions he has.

Let’s not forget, Josh tried to make his usual limp-handed apologies and when people didn’t accept it right away and pressured him to actually change his behavior he immediately turned nasty on them. He will say whatever he has to say to make people stop pressuring him to grow up, and he demonstrates how much of a liar and coward he is by his refusal to act.

He’s continuing to publish videos with Zack in them, and making nonsensical excuses for it. So when he says he’s actually doing something, I say “Prove it.”

To be fair, sometimes pain can cloud a person’s judgement with that sort of thing sometimes. Speaking as someone who has struggled with depression, sometimes the negative thoughts kind of form a barrier and it makes it hard to pay attention to much else.
