They did it because you don’t feature the final fight between the two biggest guys in the company on anything but the big four, you don’t hotshot their booking, and you don’t 50/50 book your biggest title. Cough cough Sasha Charlotte.

You’re thinking in Kayfabe, because you seem to be only thinking about the title. I hate to break it to you, but the title is a cheap, poorly fitting lump of plastic, a prop. It’s not a real award, it’s as much a simple device to tell stories as the list of Jericho and Koko’s parrot.
