Truthfully, I actually kinda wanted to see another side to Diamond Tiara, even back before her reformation, and when many fans wanted her to suffer.
 
There were a few rare moments where Tiara seemed to show a slightly nicer side, like how she respected, and admired her father in “Family Appreciation Day.” (Considering, all the other kids found him boring, and loved Granny Smith, it kinda makes you wonder if Tiara is a bit sour grapes) She also praised Pinkie in “Pinkie-Pride,” and tried to help make the CMC more popular in “Twilight Time.” (Sure, she & Spoon were brown-nosing, but it’s possible they enjoyed some of their time with the CMC, like their pool party.)  
And sense we never really saw much of Tiara & Spoon besides, “lol ur blank-flanks,” we didn’t know much about them, so it’s understandable why the fanbase forgave ‘em. (Certainly helped Tiara had a really adorable, and heart-rending sad song, easily one of the most heart-breaking moments in the series.)
 
If Tiara gets her nasty side from her Mom, maybe she has a nicer side she gets from her Dad. I like to think that. (Ignoring EqGirls, which made Mr. Rich a minor villain in one movie, which I didn’t like… They should’ve used Spoiled instead. Though, technically, his human counterpart is like a totally different character.)

Eh, the drama sword tends to fall on the necks of characters that are already established and have a decent amount of fan-following hatred. New ones only really get it if they’re especially evil. At the time when the episode came out, she was brand new and, sure, she was hated immediately, but her only sin was being a crap mother. While in the real world that’s a great reason to loathe someone, in cartoons where villains exist it can get overlooked. Especially when porn exists.
 
Therefore, I’m not surprised. If anything, I’m shocked that so many people latched onto Diamond Tiara and forgave her so easily. Don’t get me wrong, because I did too, but there were a TON of people who absolutely hated DT. Even though she was just a child bullied by an idiot mother with no concept of how social interaction actually works with regular people.
 
I think I’ve made my point. Porn aside, Spoiled Rich is an awful character with no redeeming values. Toss her on the same fire that Rara’s manager (who’s name I don’t care to remember) likely burns on.

Surprised, there’s a “Spoiled Rich drama” tag as honestly the images tagged as such don’t seem very dramatic, (in a meta sense) and frankly she’s supposed to be kinda unlikeable. The only “drama” I usually see are fans saying, “Geeze she’s a biotch,” then moving on.
 
I see worse drama for characters that actually reformed, or made up for the bad things they did.

This needed happened canonically. The useless bitch has been stressing his daughter out after who knows how long and then it came out to his daughter bullying others at her school?
 
Have her pack her shit and get out. And no, she doesn’t need custody of anyone; Last thing needed would be her stressing Diamond Tiara even further, possibly even to DT becoming suicidal as she sees she’ll NEVER be able to impress that mother of hers.
