Fed up with the dilapidated state of the Ponyville after Tirek’s rampage, Rarity organizes the town’s first ever charity pageant to raise funds for fixing up and beautifying the town’s public places.
Applejack suggested the theme should be ‘family’. Rarity ran with it, and was delighted by the positive response of the women of Ponyville, who came forward in droves to participate in the pageant, including Rarity’s very lovely sister and mother!
