Dude, I ship spike with pretty much every character in the show no matter how mean or evil they are.
I know more people who dislike Spike than like him, and of them, a lot hate Spike ships. Also, compared to Spoiled Rich, Sweetie Belle is a significantly more popular character and much closer in age to Spike.
