I know. The final product was much better, though. I really can’t see Gargoyles as a comedy… unless they made one about the gargoyles in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Yeah… I can see someone like Joss Whedon doing a pretty good reboot of Gargoyles though.
But knowing Michael Bay, if he were to do it he’d probably have:
-Loads of explosions
-Megan Fox as Elisa Maza (even though she’s black/Indian in canon)
-Lexington being a gay stereotype
-Hudson always farting and Bronx pissing on stuff
-Brooklyn always spouting out one-liners
-And have the gargoyles with really shitty CGI.
God dammit, now they’re probably going to do that.

I’ve been hearing rumors about a reboot or remake. They’re only just rumors, though.
Unfortunately, seeing how Michael Bay has already ruined Transformers and Ninja Turtles for me, he’ll doubtlessly try to find a way to ruin this part of my childhood, too.
i hope to god that it’s never rebooted or get’s a live action movie. because that would just ruin it
It wasn’t exactly a huge money-maker at the time, considering that Greg Weisman was kicked off the production team during its third season, and is probably more popular in hindsight. So I don’t know if they will ever reboot it. Then again, that might be a good thing considering how bad reboots tend to be.
and i’m surprised it hasn’t be rebooted already. Well, its only a matter of time….
That’d be horrible.
The Nostalgia Critic and the Black Nerd recently made a video about bad reboots for nostalgic shows, and they joked that Disney will reboot Gargoyles into a High School Musical type of show. Unfortunately, since Disney owns both Gargoyles and HSM, they might actually do that now :O
