She is strong enough to destroy rocks, no to push them… That’s a big difference

Either that or it might just be some kind of iron-rich ore, like a magnetite phenocryst. The rounded shape and solid, relatively uneroded mass would jive with a volcanic origin that was sufficiently discrete and concentrated from the surrounding strata to allow it to come away whole, and dragons are fond of volcanic areas.

You’d have to crack the outside of it to look for any potential discoloration if the insides is iron. But since it’s out of the ground like it was I don’t know if it’d have the constant exposure to water to have any evidence of redox.

I wasn’t paying attention to Granny Smith when she was talking about the origins of Holder’s Boulder, but it did have something to do with dragons. You could look at the horizons in that area and see if the soil profiles have mafic soils. You are bound to see them in mountains though over felsic, so it’s a fair assumption.

Guys guys guys. The boulder she threw was waay smaller than this one. And as for the one she punched… Well she’s obviously not going to punch this one.

That rock was so heavy that it took exactly 108 ponies to move it.

The extra 99 were all Maud.
