Pretty sure the artist was going for incestuous. Funnily enough, it’s my headcanon that Babs and AB are actually second cousins (Babs’ mother being first cousins with AJ and AB), thus shipping is totally okay. You know, for the health of the… babies they won’t be having. This argument just lost all meaning after awhile.

y’know, there’s no guarantee that it’s incestuous. Apple Bloom might be a mutual cousin. Maternal cousin marries paternal cousin. Big question is which side of the nave Apple Bloom (and AJ and Big Mac) would sit on.
 
…yes I was just recently at a wedding for one of my cousins, and yes I briefly contemplated the ladies on the other side of my cousin’s family.
