They do it all the time, but it’s almost always as an easter egg or a quick gag, rather than the focus of a scene. Also, you seem much more serious about this than I was being.

Right, because the creators of this show would never reference another show, movie, or franchise. Especially not one from the 90s/turn of the century that only the adults watching it would get.

Pony!Twi’s lack of experience moving in a human body was quickly overcome, though. I mean, she learned to dance in it in two days, and that’s one of the most complex things that can be done with the human body. Seriously, that’s something many people born with a human body could never manage with it. In a direct competition of physical capacity between the two Twilights, Pony!Twi would blow Sci!Twi out of the water at every turn.
 
Especially since Pony!Twi has vastly higher base and peak levels of confidence and experience with movement in general than Sci!Twi, and a rather large part of physical performance comes from the individual’s confidence in their ability to perform. The gap would be even wider if Pony!Twi’s human body reflected an equivalent of her pony body’s physical development, since she’s spent about two years walking, running, jumping, flying, and fighting that she did not participate in prior to the events of the show.
