The name of the 4koma literally means “Non-human”,written with classical Chinese grammar style.
 
 
It’s rather surprising to see this show up here. Although I have an inkling that it will eventually find its way on Derpiboo, I suppose this is pretty fast.

This strip comes from a 4koma with characters based on Chinese folk myth deitie/characters from Journey to The West. The kid here is actually Ne’Zha, who has a reputation of pissing off and bullying dragons. The dragon is the White Dragon Horse of Xuanzang from Journey to The West. And the guy who transformed Ne’Zha is Guanyin, who is one of the more frequent “deus ex machina” character in Journey to The West. He (actually she, since Guanyin had always been portrayed as a woman in China, although the artist of the strip decided to use the original gender here) was originally a bodhisattva named Avalokiteśvara.
