Well, let’s be fair here. You LOVE what they’ve done with the place, but you’d rather prefer that YOU WERE IN CHARGE. You love the CHAOS so.
You are also quite fond of CULLING. You suppose it’s IRONIC that a LOWBLOOD OF THE LOWEST CASTE has a love of a HIGHBLOOD PRIVILEGE. You also don’t CARE.
Your CLOTHING is also UNUSUAL for a Rustblood. Normally only the SEADWELLERS wear such BRIGHT clothing.
There is a REASON, though. Your garments are SEWED TOGETHER from pieces of CLOTHING dyed with COLOR BRIGHTENER and THE BLOOD OF YOUR ENEMIES. Specifically the trolls/grubs you have killed over your REBELLION.
The FUCHSIA indicates a ROYAL you’ve KILLED PERSONALLY and NOT a failed HEIR you LOOTED from a STEAMING PILE OF CORPSES LEFT BY THE EMPRESS. Change of topic.

Are you trying to make Discord fit into the Homestuck ’verse, or are you just trying to make an Alternian character vaguely inspired by Discord? Because that gives you two very different results, and I suppose its mostly fine for the latter as is. But if you want to make Discord into an Alternian troll, he needs to be more ‘Sheogorath’ than ‘The Joker’
That, and it’s not like Alternian paint isn’t Troll Blood anyway.
Well, if you have a better explanation for the very Discord clothing/appearance, then go ahead. Enlighten me on your ideas. (And might I point out again that this ISN’T MLP canon? He’s kind of only 26 here.)/pointed stare
No, but they’re all very different things than “bathe my clothing in the blood of my enemies” and the whole idea that he’s a killer, rather than driving them insane and fucking with them but not actually hurting them physically. The furthest he’s ever gone on that front is the plunderseeds, which STILL didn’t do much more than throw nature into chaos and employ tentacle bondage.
Also there is no brooding noted anywhere around the description.
(And given he has managed to avoid being culled for long enough to survive to a whopping 13 sweeps, which is frankly excellent by Alternian AND rustblood standards, there has to be SOME killing mindset.
To be honest, a Discord from Equis is just a dick, thanks to the TV-Y rating, but neither Homestuck nor Alternia have that limitation.)

See, I base my interpretation of how Discord acts on how he’s actually acted in the show, not what stained glass made by the victims of his antics show him as, because I trust firsthand evidence more than secondhand anecdotes that come from people who have an obvious bias against him.
He’s a manipulative dick, yeah, most definitely, but he’s not brooding or bloodthirsty. He’s Q from Star Trek, very much deliberately so.
Yet none of them, IMHO, don’t seem to fit this image, do they?
Considering the cruelty Discord got up to during his first reign (see stained glass), the description fits perfectly with both Alternian standards and whatever Discord got up to.
