Yeah, but that still makes them terrifying.
If they don’t talk, it’s because they don’t want to break the immersion for others. How would you feel if Rarity (or any other m6) just suddenly spoke with a nasaly male voice, or in a case of not Fluttershy, a deep manly voice?

I have a HUGE phobia of costumed mascots that I’ve had since childhood. It’s the reason I have more traumatic memories of Disneyland and Chuck E. Cheese than happy ones.
They just look so WRONG. They have staring dead eyes and frozen facial expressions like a doll or plushie, but they move like an actual living organism, resulting in a hybrid monstrosity nature did not intend. Oh, and they don’t talk, which makes it ten times worse.
Awesome, this person needs more attention. :D
Added the tag, not 100% sure if its the correct artist, but it does look identical to her work. Also while I was at it I tagged a bunch of other images with this same fursuit in it.

I’d suggest to check the other pics with this fursuit in them, but I’m not sure if that’s the artist of the photo or the suit.
