Since they first met, Diamond and Silver have always been close. Always had sleep overs, always picked each other for school activities and assignments etc..
 
However, as the both got to their teens, they both felt something… different in each other. This isn’t right they thought, they should b having those feelings for a nice tough stallion, not each other.
 
But no matter how much they wanted to ignore those feelings, they just kept getting stronger and stronger.
 
One day, they decided that there was no use fighting it, and both bit the bullet, and went to ask the other on a date.
 
They were both nervous, for good reason: they have never asked someone to go on a date with them. if it was hard to ask a complete stranger, imagine asking it to your best friend, one with the same gender as you no less.
 
They both kept stuttering and fumbling to get the word out, until Diamond to a risk that could make or break their friendship.
 
With no warning, she grabbed Silver by the shoulder, pulled her in, and gave her a kiss. Silver was shocked and surprised by this. However, she noticed that the kiss felt…good. It was full of passion, and Silver decided to return said passion.
 
Silver felt Diamonds soft hands gently stroking her hair, and Diamond felt Silvers soft hands rub her sides.
 
They both knew it would never happen, but they wished that this moment would last forever.
 
The friends, now turned lovers, slowly broke the kiss, and wrapped each others hands around them, and pulled each other close in for a hug.
 
They both looked lovingly at each others eyes, as they both said 3 simple words. 3 simple words, that would change their relationship forever.
 
“I love you.”
