But this is not an PNG. This is just a jpeg with the extension changed.

If you use firefox then click on view and on the title bar it will tell you that this is an jpeg.

Also I looked around a bit and it seems PNG is the better format. Highest quality over JPEG or GIF.

Why is the file extension wrong on so many pictures?
.png is for png files ONLY. (This is an jpeg)
Gnome image viewer for example wont open this until i manually fix the extension.
