background: Cortez Canto is the son of the siren Serene Wave and Storm Blade a Merepony merchant. during his first 4 years, his mom and dad taught him to respect all sentient life. Things were peaceful, until his 5th birthday. A witch that had a grudge against his parents, saw that Cortez was going to sing in front of parents and decide to curse him. whenever he sing, it will destroy whatever in front of him. After his parents were killed, the witch kidnapped him and used him as a slave. since then his life became nothing but abuse.  
upon meeting Sapphire Shore: The witch assigned him to go undercover as Sapphire Shore’s manager to steal a priceless necklace. As time pass, the relationship blossom from business, to friendship to finally romance. but can love help Cortez Canto overcome his what holding been him back.
