in my mlp / idw comics?
it’s more common than you think.
Examples: “I don’t even have time to explain why I don’t have time to explain.”
or
“Not even Oryx can control an Ogre… Unless it is Taken.”

Twilight drops dead
Applejack: … Okay… Soo…. which one of y’all motherbuckers didn’t believe hard enough?
Spike: What’s that? Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention; what were we doing?
Rarity: Spike, you just made Twilight lose a spell game.
Spike: NoIdidnt.
Rarity: Yes you did!
Spike: Well, you made me lose all the joy in my life… So we’re even.
“BELIEVE IN ME WHO BELIEVES IN YOU WHO BELIEVES IN THE ONE PIECE!”
But without the Elements of harmony, the others shouldn’t have any super powers, just like in return of harmony.
this is the most sensible part of this particular storyline yet.
It’s an exact quote, you know. Ineffective censorship included.
Now who looks like they don’t know things?
No, I’m pretty sure he used the right word for this scenario.
Yep. Compared to Friendship Games, this comic is enormously lazy.
Wasn’t there a device used to facilitate that?
he was never a dragon but something else
a terrestrial siphonophore that had evolved to give the impression of intelligence
nobody knew that the fossilized dragon egg had been infested
nobody knows that shining has been infested now, either
this is the kind of nightmare that fuels your nightmares, but this isn’t a nightmare – this is real, and this is the end
I think what matters in this event is that Twilight getting the ‘Power of Friendship’ boost wasn’t even relevant. After all, she just ended up making the situation worse.
No context needed, I understand completely that this is kind of sudden. Personally I tend to give the writers a little slack, since I imagine working with a set amount of comic pages forces the story at times, but even so they probably could have done with a bit more explanation.
I suppose I could have phrased my statement better too. I tend to think that once you establish that sort of thing is something that can be done, you don’t need to make as big a production out of it every time it happens (such as here). But again, that’s my opinion only.
That had a lot more buildup and reason to it.
This is just “We belive in you!” and she then frees them just like that with no buildup whatsoever. Learn some context.
“Alright, which one of y’all fspoilers didn’t believe hard enough?”
