There are no words for how much I disagree with you and not just because you claim how people are apparently not allowed to do what they want, as if anybody has the right to enforce that.
 
Then again, it’s no surprise how negative the community has become towards alicorn OCs just because the majority of them is made by little kids with just as little logic, style and common sense put into it. Doesn’t mean everyone should be shunned for trying, as some of them can be actually pretty good.
 
It’s not like they directly harm you either, unless you consider being butthurt over the fact alicorn OCs exist as harm inflicted on you. Why not simply move on and pay no attention to something you don’t agree with instead of preaching how only the creators of the show “have the right” to do it? You’d avoid criticizing people who don’t deserve it, kids who will cry over it and those who’ll laugh it off and insult you in return. It’s like a win for everybody.

She was one of the guests of honor at last year’s Everfree NW, and she seemed to like the new version though it wasn’t really central to her life any more. But even the first version that became a toy had evolved considerably from her preliminary ideas for it, so ongoing changes for decades after that didn’t seem like a sore point.

Very nice pony-fication of her. :) Nice touch making her an alicorn to, which seems fitting. (She created the whole MLP franchise.)

She knows of it at least. Haven’t heard her opinion of it based on what I have gathered.
