I agree. Chrysalis’ face has always looked strange from the side (and inconsistent with her 3/4th view).

Chrysalis was in the episode!? Stupid DVR didn’t record the episode and my internet is too slow to watch it online! DX

IDW’s Chrysalis wasn’t chaotic. Her motive is still the same; For her and her Changelings to find sources of love to feed on. IDW isn’t without its faults, but it portrayed Chrysalis pretty accurately to the show I’d say.

all the timelines had a similar issue. lack of nightmare moon, the main entity who would have been present without hte mane six.
 
i think, along with what zecora said, showed that the timelines were all false. like characters had been thrown together without progression.
 
There is no way chrysalis could have taken on nightmare moon to put it simply. she would not have hat power boost she relied upon to defeat celestia, and nightmare moon is far more powerful than celestia.  
same with sombra. luna was not present, yet celestia somehow was.  
and how could luna not be nightmare moon in the discord one?
 
each timeline has similar errors to it. think implying that they were unstable.

I loved how the body paint serves a dual function of identifying changelings. Zebra shamans have access to some pretty cool magic.

Zecroa in this episode alone made up for her lack of screentime in the last two seasons.
