Well, this version of Dash maybe not as agile as main timeline one are, but it seems she has MUCH more real combat experience. And yes, convincing her to desert the battlefield for some time travel probably would be a big problem…

We’re talking that she’s stronger magically than twilight while using her magic levitation to casually fly, something that we’ve previously only ever seen Pound Cake do while having a magical surge, and she does it throughout the entire two-parter. And she’s only a unicorn.
 
Glimmer is absurdly OP. Like, the more I think about it the more its starting to bug me how off the established power curve she is.

Those helmets on the soldiers are terrible though, WAY too big. They just suck all the coolness out of the image.
 
They remind me of african tribal masks except not cool.

You’re assuming that Dash is still just as fast and nimble as we remember. I’m willing to bet a prosthetic wing interferes a great deal.  
Also, Dash is highly loyal by nature. Do you think Twilight could talk her off the battlefield while her friends and comrades are being pummeled?  
“Hey, I just met you and this is crazy, but will you time travel with me?”

Yeah, Dash! Beat up those… brainwashed slaves… Woo…

Wings is the strongest part of Dash so I’m quite sure she can break out of such a clutch. Also, as I said in other discussion, Twilight’s paralysing spell is areal and take some time to cast - time which Dash won’t give her, either leaving the spell area or knocking the caster unconscious. And speaking of headcanons - my is that NOPONY, even Princesses, is no match to Dash in the fight! She is an Überpony.

As a matter of fact, Twilight herself states by the end of episode 26 that Starlight’s magical power is ridiculously high. We’re talking Princess Level high here…

This is just head cannon territory, but I believe that Starlight’s levitation is strong enough to hold the grown up RD too. The show itself doesn’t imply other way.

This “once” was actually just Twi yanking Dash tale the same way AJ usually do with her mouth usually. Its stops Dash, yes… But the thing is: Dash wasn’t made any attempts to free herself and was more baffled by Twilight’s erratic behaviour than anything. Telekinesis was used to hold character completely throughout the show, but it is usually used on smaller creatures (Spike) or on a character who didn’t try to resist ( Fluttershy in “Green is not your “colour”). I don’t think even Twi or Starlight would be able to hold down actively-resisting grown-up military-trained pony for any prolonged tine.

She can levitate herself. The rainboom speed is the same so not much changes. Also twilight stopped and did hold Dash once.

I can imagine editing this with either DBZ sounds or Smash Bros. 4 sounds.

She managed to stop young version of Dash, yes. But fully grown up pony is much stronger, so Dash probably just rips through her spell.

But the stopping someone with levitation is immediately applyed at the right distance. So Dash would have some trouble to manage that.

Only if she managed, yo know, catch her. Starlight couldn’t even hit Twilight (who is much worse flyer) half of the time. Battle-hardened Dash wouldn’t left her a single chance (Beside, Twi could serve as the magical support as well)!

Glimmer has a few freeze magic. A good shot and RD is useless.

Twilight should get to this version of Dash, explain the situation to her and take her to the past… Starlight won’t stand a chance!
