Well,the Nightmare Timeline was a bit scary,mainly because i had the feeling Nightmare was limiting herself…or maybe it’s just me.  
In this particular sequence she doesn’t seem all ok.A bit near on the edge of madness,but holding it.

I’m more amazed about how AWESOME she was drawn in this timeline, I mean, this is the first time I was SCARED of Nightmare Moon. She is my favorite villain, but this season has managed to do some serious and marvelous facial expressions, and this incarnation of Nightmare Moon looks AWESOME and SCARY. Kudos to the people who drew the Princess of the Eternal Night.

Yeah, I was kinda hoping she’d enter the main time stream. And even if Starlight and Twilight didn’t defeat her outright, she’d still be a pretty great loose plot thread to resolve. (Bookend the series with NMM as both the pilot and the series finale villain?)
 
Starswirl’s time travel scroll did get sucked up into the time vortex. Who knows where or when it ended up…?
