on this line, twilight became an above-average student in celestia school, slowly working her way up and discovering the legend that begun the serie; without the raiboom-centric events, the ties between the rest of the mare where weaker, but they managed to defeat nightmare moon, but got separated after that (rarity advance her carreer, twilight returning to canterlot), and with rd somewhat traumatized by magic and unable to became a guard, they where completelly unprepared to fight discord

It’s even more funny when you know it’s counted as even “worse” than being under tirek, nightmare moon, chrysalis or sombra XD

No, it’s stated in the episode that the table brings them back to the same point in time they left.

My theory is that Discord removed her Nightmare Moonness in this timeline just to mess with her (& everyone else) more.

Plot Twist: This is actually the ScrewBall timeline and Discord and the Princesses are Entertaining her so she won’t Smite them.

Discord’s animation here is pretty fluid.

I do like this better animated shot of the Discord-controlled timeline with Celestia and Luna reduced to being Discord’s personal entertainment, much to their humiliation.
 
Still, how the heck does Discord manage to get Celestia’s ethereal mane and tail balled up like that into her clown afros? But hey, who am I to argue with the Master of Chaos? One snap of his fingers and POOF! Instant clown afro mane and tail for both of the Royal Sisters.
