Found the voice actor (not actress, like what someone once said to me). He’s Kentarou Itou.
I swear, he sounds like a girl, to the point I almost believed that the X was voiced by a female.

X4 also has that problem, but it’s still my second most favorite X game ever.
Funny how Gate’s fighting style matches Starlight’s in the show.
Oh, I had no qualms about the voice acting, especially not Hyenard’s XD It was only irritating to a point before I just like it now.
I definitely agree about the voices for Zero and Sigma.
Say what you want about the voice acting quality of X7, at least it has Barry “Jill Sandwich” Gjerde himself doing the voice of Red–and, same as Barry Burton before him, the performance is just too earnest to really be called bad. Also, Zero and Sigma at least to me sound like how they look like they should sound.
But yeah, Flame Hyenard was irritating as hell. Burn to the ground.
