“That is IT! I’M SETTING HER ON FIRE; THAT WILL FIX EVERYTHING!”
Gosh, I just can’t fathom dealing with someone as bullheaded as Starlight Glimmer. The fact that Twilight didn’t just launch her into space at the end of it all just proves that she’s a pony with a lot of patience and grace. I couldn’t stop imagining her just giving up and taking all her frustration out on Starlight for her stubbornness, so I made this as a warm up for commissions.
Hmm. Theoretically possible, though the timing in relation to when Twilight arrived at that time is confusing. Heck, even finding a way to word the question is confusing.
Maybe she watched Dash a few times to get the timing of the shot correct.
This actually ties in nicely with my own headcanon regarding unicorn horns: There’s a small second brain in there designed to do most of the heavy lifting when violating the laws of physics, much in the same way a child’s brain can subconsciously perform the calculus needed to predict the path of a ball. This “cornic lobe” was what dragged Rarity to her destiny, and is responsible for the slightly higher rate of insanity in unicorns. Starlight could’ve achieved conscious awareness of hers, which would help explain her ridiculous magical power.
Well, it’s not an explanation likely to satisfy anyone else, but I like it. Thanks.
tracking spell Either that, or my theory that unicorns have highly active brains that can process and collect information far faster and more powerful than the other three tribes.
Given Dash’s velocity, Starlight would’ve needed precognition to lead that shot.
Maybe she aimed where she was going to be…
I’d love to know what kind of drugs that guy is on.
Huh? Maybe on pair with her at fighting, but definitely not more powerful.
