Look, you can escape from real life all you want with ponies, you can even try escaping from laws and rules of reality itself by playing (or just being) dumb and locking yourself in an imaginary world of your own creation where the only difference between the speed of sound and light is the name.
 
What you can’t do, is to present your headcanons and poor level of rudimentary knowledge as facts for other people. Just because you think cartoons don’t need to make sense (or have any sort of quality to them) and that you can’t seem add 2 and 2 to get 4, doesn’t mean we need to do the same thing. RD is NOT going at the light speed, you can think whatever you want, but it doesn’t make you right. You can deny the Moon exists but everyone with eyes can still see that it is there.
 
It doesn’t matter if it is a cartoon or not, the speed of light is a real concept from real world and there is no other interpretation of it except the realistic one. Right now the only thing you are achieving is solidifying my opinion that most bronies, especially the Derpy-obsessed lovers, are morons. So please, start making sense or I call this discussion over due to not having an intelligent opponent to talk to. If you post fragments of your imaginary wonderland on the Internet for other people to see and criticize, you must be willing and ready to defend them. If not - what exactly is the point and what purpose does your wasting of air serve?

I am sorry to say, but if you had at least a slightest idea of what you are talking about, you wouldn’t have said a piece of absolutely ridiculous and downright stupid nonsense like that.
 
First of all, Rainbow does NOT move faster than light. In case you didn’t know, light is really-really-REALLY fast. In fact, here is a practical example just for you so you wouldn’t embarrass yourself in the future. If Dash was indeed moving at the speed of light, and given that their planet is similarly sized to Earth, she would circle around it at approximately 7.5 times per SECOND. Do you see this happen in any of the episodes? Absolutely not! She is flying approximately at the speed of sound, which is still a feat impossible for any organic creature without strong “magical” intervention and years of practice.
 
And second, the ability to move “faster than light” is exactly a trick and/or a move. You don’t see everyone doing it, right? It must be learned, and it can be learned only through years of practice and making your body strong enough to perform it. Furthermore, I see absolutely no logical connection or any other means your statement is supposed to justify Derpy being able to do it. It is like saying “Bananas are red, therefore Mars is smaller than Earth!” - absolute nonsense and nothing else. Next time you want people to treat you seriously, please try to actually make sense. Thank you!

Bro… The Sonic Rainboom isn’t a trick or move, it’s an object moving faster than light. You ever watch Star Wars and Star Trek? You ever see that flash of light when they go to warp/enter into hyperspace? They do a Rainboom. Thus, Derpy could do a Rainboom.

All I know is that OOC images like this are the reason why Derpy is my most hated pony. She is not just suddenly OP enough to make a rainboom here (even despite being shown as less than average and a very clumsy flyer before), but Dash doesn’t even question how exactly someone managed to steal her signifying mood, not to mention Derpy of all ponies. She isn’t surprised or annoyed even for a second, which is a testament that the author doesn’t understand his characters in the slightest. She just goes “Derpy, cool, you are about to do a Rainboom just because magic and stupid writing, even despite it took me literally an entire liferime of training and a correaponding talent\cutie mark for it. Anywho, congrats and try not to die! Oh, and don’t stop!” Next thing we see, is one of those garbage images where Derpy is accepted into the Wonderbolts right next to a crying Dash, probably because of her waifu powers and how “cute” she is. This is just complete BS, that’s what it is.
