Do you think Starlight heard stories about how Bill is so powerful that even Discord pales in comparison to him?

I would so read a fanfic built around this idea, wherein Discord becomes the hero in the defense of his closest friend. Heck, subtracting Bill entirely, I’d love an episode from the actual show that tries this idea out.

I dunno, Bill could be even more powerful than Discord despite being contained in the force field.
 
Maybe Ford has something to do with it. Some kind of contingency plan I think.

But after seeing Weirdmaggedon and the other finale episodes, i highly doubt discord could barely stand against Bill.
 
In Fact Discord pales at most Beings of the same sort of antagonist. Sheogorath, Tzeentch or the original Q for example.

The mane 6 dodge as fast as they can as a powerful explosive blast blows them all to the ground. Discord looks over to see Fluttershy has been knocked unconscious. But he fears it might be worse than it looks. Then, we see Discord’s wrath born anew…..

Yeah, I’d love to think Discord can actually hold his own and frustrate Bill by dodging, trolling, and faking him out for a while. Up until Bill hits his rage mode and Discord realizes he’s gotta take him a bit more seriously, now. Either way, the ponies would be miles away from that battle for sure!

Then we would finally see a Cipher/Discord Battle. What would it look like I wonder. I mean the ways that bill cipher fights in his own show, are straightforward direct attacks like the overwhelming blast that killed the time baby. Discord however, is able to avoid such attacks at the end of season 4.

Okay, so it seems possession isn’t really the outcome in this story.  
But a Bill Cipher-possessed Starlight… that’s something I’d love to see!

And the season 6 premier is going to be the mane 6 + Starlight having to deal with a rather pissed off Bill Cipher who just got his butt kicked out of the Gravity Falls universe.
 
Starlight:“Twilight, there’s something I kinda forgot to mention about how I got so powerful to begin with……”  
Bill:“Alright, you little Wild-Berry Poptart equine, so where exactly are those six elements from that STUPID OVERGROWN TREE I was promised you’d have GIFT WRAPPED for me 3 MoNtHs AgO!?!?”  
Starlight:”….Let’s just say I didn’t necessarily do all my own stunts. sheepish grin”  
Twilight:”……ugh”  
Discord:“Bill!? We-he-hell, it’s only been a few trillion years or so! Praytell, how DID you finally manage to find your way out of that lovely nightmarescape of a universe I tossed you and your old friends into oh-so long ago?”

Maybe THAT is why she was on par with an ascended alicorn.

And that’s how the Ashlands Timeline occurred.
